Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Objective
To provide up-to-date technical knowledge and skills in all areas of study, enabling students to become competent engineers and make a qualitative difference in their fields. The department aims to present potential challenges and real-world problems during the course of study to enhance student competency and post-employment efficiency.
Laboratory Facilities
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department is fully equipped with laboratories aligned with the curriculum to deliver intensive practical training. Students gain hands-on experience in:

Additional training is provided in Computer Application and English Communication & Life Skills through the Computer Lab and Language Lab respectively.
Laboratories
Electrical Machines Lab
All electrical motors (AC & DC supply), with or without load, are controlled and their characteristics are analyzed with graphical representations.
Wiring and Winding Lab
Provides hands-on experience in electrical wiring and coil winding for both domestic and commercial applications.
Electrical Workshop
Teaches students to identify and use tools for servicing electrical appliances and assembling/disassembling various domestic appliances.
CAED Lab
Students use AutoCAD software to draw 2D and 3D models of electrical motors and electronic control circuits.
Simulation Lab
Enables simulation of electrical motors and electronic control circuits, allowing outputs to be viewed on-screen using simulation software without physical equipment.
Electronics Lab
Covers methods of using converters, inverters, and rectifiers; includes analysis of power semiconductor devices and microcontroller interfacing using kits.
